Many dairy operations lose thousands of dollars each year in lost milk production, metabolic disorders, and death. The majority of that loss comes from the cows' inability to successfully transition from dry to milking. The basis of a successful transition is the cows' ability to eat enough, quick enough. Which needs to take place before her peak production, and without any other complications. Unfortunately the cows and we live in the real world with real problems and sometimes that transition does not go well and that cow ends up either with a one way ticket to the packer plant or a significant amount of lost production and numerous other complications the rest of her lactation. That is why this product was put together; to be used, not as a crutch but as a management tool.

What is Kick Start?

Contains specially selected microbial strains to help reduce incidences of sub clinical acidosis by helping support the rumen population of naturally occurring organisms which consume lactic acid, thus reducing total rumen acidity and sustaining higher rumen ph.

Contains several key vitamins essential for immune function, liver function and overall stability of animal health during stressful periods before and after calving.

Contains Propylene Glycol in a stable dry palatable form to help increase dry matter intake and reduce the incidence of sub clinical ketosis.

Contains a rumen protected source of choline, which has been shown to help the liver metabolize free fatty acids into very low-density lipoproteins and is thought to reduce fat storage in the liver, helping to prevent metabolic and liver diseases.

Kick Start is an easy to use top-dress supplement with a feeding rate of ½ pound per head per day. To be fed 21 days before calving and 21 days after calving (No less than 7 days before or after calving). Kick Start is not an ionic salt supplement.
